Hi friends, long time no see, really

First thing I want to say is I hope for all of my friends who currently in japan and all of their family members plus people be safe and sane, may worst thing already gone. For unlucky being, we pray for them, rest in peace.

Second thing, now I'm studying at The Art Department of ConceptArt.org (yes, I have scholarship) and that's super fun plus insane challenging so I hardly can online enough (but draw more than ever and ever)

So, that's all, back to work and study, thanks for any punch in thy face.

Today I celebrate my one month personal art-streak, but actually it is 34 days art-streak with many face-punches. Some of them are good, some of them happen in bad hair day but I'm proud of them, every single one make me better everyday and I treasure all of your comments, favorites, DD suggest and feature (and face-punches from certain persons), those are greatest compliments for me and keep me walking on this boulevard.

BTW, congratz to all winner and I have no comments on  their artwork, some of them is good, some of them give my nice ideas for future design. But I feel a little shameful that I didn't lose to greatest artists out there. Anyway, I kept my promise with dudes with my best and have seen so many great art out there. Most of all, u guys like my design and watch me everyday, for a new day is a new contest to me, biggest prize of my life.

Well, despite closing in deadline and tons of works in company I still manage submit something, and I can I I'm satisfy with my design, and just like Gallente way, love it or hate it he he.

Yes, 8th October is my actual birthday, and I'm still sitting in front of my PC and drawing my ass off for Lum's exhibition (EVE can wait ho ho ho ho)

Keep my daily speedpainting for 16 days in a streak, plz gimme more face-punches ho ho ho, your comments and favs and love for my art are the best gift I can have.

Guys, it's very hard for me to express my feelings, after a long long long time holding back due to my graduating project, I came back. And thanks to and of their extremely hard face-punching, I can escape from lazyness, get my sorry ass to comp and paint something, my appreciation to talented co-worker Nhựt Nguyễn and beautiful but EVIL manager Trân NTB who offer my current job just what I like it as well.

And for the DD, really caught me off guard, totally surprise and happiness, but please guys, that's just something I am doing everyday in spare time, as 1 painting per day at least. If you like Scavenger and hearted it, please check out others as well, I promise there will be more and more and moar!!!

Just gimme enough face-punching to keep it up, everyday.

Happened long time ago but since I'm back there I still want to share this happiness

My artwork: The Slumscraper [link] won CGSociety's Award, one of the most respectable awards in CG World (just in my thought) [link], then it feature on some magazines and books, included Advanced Photoshop, Digital Painters 2 and 2D Artist. This success came so early, and I had to picked up my jaw since it had rolled on the floor shouting.

With bunch of reasons like that, I can stay in the dark for months and you guys will not ever miss me (but hell, I miss you). But today I get some news, not new, but for dawn that's eternal, time is inferior transcendence.

My art friends, comrade in Vietnam country,   is absolutely in sadness, deeper than any fathom meter. Since his little sister lost her life in a traffic accident, early morning 12nd May 2009, on her way to school, born in 1995.


And I admitted, in our friendship's progression, I'd never known Phong has a little sister, not until this. And this shocked me fundamentally. How many people you will acknowledge their existence just when they aren't there anymore?
Do you feel sorry that you could known them better, be friends with them, and they might become precious to you?

And now you just don't have a single chance, due to your ignorance.

Now all I'm telling you, wanting you, begging you is please have a prismatic, colorful life. Live to the fullest with people you know, meet others, say hi to strangers, because if you're late, they's maybe forever lost.

Pray with me that we wish my friends's little sister will be happy with her new life in now or ever dimension and with all of our lost precious people, friends and families will illuminate our ways, bless us with days and dreams.

The latest Luminarium Exhibition is released!!!!!!!!!!!

Bust the information is not any close to Ordinary.

First: the next Exhibition of The Luminarium is going to be released very very soon, I cann't tell you much about it except for: THEY ARE FREAKing GOOD!!!!!! As always you will need a reinforced jawbone, or you will drop it to the floor.

Second: I have some free time since I feel I need to decrease my academic tension a little bit, it's so boring. SO I will have paint commissions he he. I need some motivation and there's no motivation that better than your own ideas.

I've just finished my final exam of this damn term ek ek ek ek.

Damn this term is really boring, I'm architecture student and they torture me with Engineering Structure 301, Engineering Acoustic, Engineering Vegetation and tons of others "Engineering stuff".

So, next couple day I will:
- Play play and play game
- Co-operate with my senior artist.
- Make a battleship out of paper.

OK, first two can be easily to understand, I'm a lazy one all I want is to have fun, and I'm also a painter so I draw.
But why I will make a model of battleship? Not a model of building (as I'm student of architecture), tell you that's because I'm breen with envy when look to this girl's masterpieces, so why don't you check them out and drool he he he.

Wish from nowhere and no-snow land he he.

After the Interview with Faith from Mirror Edge (which I will post soon) I'm accidentally transfered to the V Dimension (thanks to the crazy idea of The Luminarium).

So now I'm stucked here with my computer, my cat + dog and food, water for a year, come with a nice bonus of comfortable chair. They will not let me out until I finish the job.

What job? I don't know jet, but the next assignment is a new Mirror Edge fanart, so there will be one soon.

DIY stands for Do It Yourself

So this journal's not telling you anything about electronic circuits, automotive or technical stuff, this is about art.

I spent last 3 weeks to create some concept arts, really good ones or I can say, best of mine so far!!! Technically I were proud of them but after I sent them to 3D staff for modelling, they are become nightmares, monstrosities (but I didn't draw any monster or terrible things, for god's sake). Cursed these 3D staff, some of them considered themself best guys around (that "around" exactly? loserest corner of the loser street in loserville, loser-valley of loserica?), I think I gonna kill these 3D-artist pretender.

I can't stand this, nobody can bear when witnessing their terrific spiritual artworks fall in the hands of idiots like that and turn out to be... ugly, extremely ugly.

I will learn 3D and do it myself. (and continue to sharpen my skill in 2D)

UPADTED:

More information, that each concept art setting contains a posing of character as well as 3 standard aligned viewpoints (industrial requirements). So I did my best to represent my characters in professional workflow. All they have to do, is projecting my 2D drawings to 3D model, basically it's not much creative there, just... work.

Sorry if there is any 3D artist read this, but if you are a good 3D artist, you know what I'm talking about.

Hey buddies, how're you doing. Sorry that I have no update for 2 week, I'm reading so many books so I don't have much time to draw a paint anything seriously.

BTW, for anyone live in Saigon, I have just found a print-shop that can print really really nice copy up to A0 size (841 × 1189 mm or 33.1 × 46.8 inches), cost you 100k VND or just about 6USD only. I printed my architectural project and rendered image there.

HOOOORRAAAAAAYYYYY!!!!! I'm gonna print bunch of my artworks then lay on them and rolling hehehehehehe!!!!

Yeah, after months and months (oh my, I'm still too young to say years and years) of painting landscape, and the latest stuff turn out to be great, thank you for hearting on my World of People [link]

But,...I feel like I need some new element, so I decide to move to new category, concept portrait and concept character.
